About Us

Jeff Branson, Owner

Jeff attended Kansas State University, earning a BS in Milling Science and a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics. He applied this education during school through apprenticeships for Cereal Food Processors and Nabisco and upon graduation, joined Cereal Food Processors as a Milling Assistant in California. There he spent several years of hands-on experience. He was promoted to Head Miller and transferred to Cleveland, ultimately working his way up to Mill Superintendent. These experiences taught him a lot about the expectations of plant engineers. He has worked in a plant and understands the importance of timely quotes and accurate budgets.

A family friend who was in the supply equipment business suggested Jeff might enjoy the sales side of processing equipment. He spent the next seven years with an established equipment company gaining a substantial amount of experience covering Kansas and Missouri.

Entrepreneurship seemed the next best step and in 2007 he started Process Systems (now called Advanced Process Systems) providing experience, sales and service of dry, powder and bulk processing equipment and parts. Jeff covers the entire state of Kansas and oversees all operations at APS.

Jeff is married with 2 children (now both at Kansas State) and enjoys all kinds of sports and hunting. He is a faithful K State fan, frequently attending games with his family.

Terry L. Hale

Terry studied Journalism at Harper College and, with the exception of a few years as a Regional Sales Manager for a highly regarded publisher, her Account Management and Marketing experience has been entirely industrial. Her industrial sales experience has had her on the phone, and in the field. She wrote a well-received cover story for an industry trade magazine while selling in the heavy construction equipment industry and later wrote training manuals for Customer Service, Inside Sales and Technical Research departments.

Terry spent ten years in the plastics industry for a distributor who also provided fabrication, injection molding, and vacuum forming. Handling Kansas and Missouri, she provided on-site application assistance to customers ranging from OEM’s to the KCMO Crime Lab. Additional experience in rigid packaging, CNC machining, and the asphalt industry provided opportunity for sales and service achievements, to engage in Internet Marketing, and to write trade articles, Corporate Policy Manuals, and web content.

At Advanced Process Systems Terry is focused on Inside Sales, EHS, Office Management, and she provides Sales Support for all lines.

Outside of APS, Terry and her husband, B.J. like whitewater rafting, target shooting, browsing flea markets for treasures to repurpose, and antiquing. She is a freelance writer, author, and publisher with 3 published books to date.
